A-G Diploma Counselor Martinez (Last Names A-G)
Welcome!
A-G Martinez is starting her 7th year with LAUSD. Prior to arriving at Gardena High School as an A-G Counselor, she was an Academic Counselor at West Adams Preparatory High School. She is a PROUD Gardena High School Alum (03'), received her B.A from UCLA (Go Bruins!) and her M.A, PPSC, and CWA from Loyola Marymount University.
A-G Martinez is excited to be back to her old stompin' grounds to assist the G-House Family.
Mrs. Martinez services students who have been identified as missing 3 or more A-G classes. Some of the services offered by Mrs. Martinez include: case management, attendance monitoring, referrals to tutoring, referrals for any other service you may need like counseling, health, or any other support services. Mrs. Martinez also assist with alternative education referrals, credit recovery, and much more.

Lets talk A-G Classes!
A-G classes are the designated classes necessary to graduate. Students must pass each class with a D or better for graduation and a C or better for CSU/UC admission.
