A-G Diploma Program Counselor
About!
Mrs. Delgado is an A-G Counselor at Gardena High School. Mrs. Delgado has been with LAUSD for the past 6 years servicing Local District South. She graduated from CSULB with her MSW in 2016, her BASW in 2015 and obtained her LCSW in 2021.
Mrs. Delgado services students who have been identified as missing 3 or more A-G classes. Some of the services offered by Mrs. Delgado include: case management, attendance monitoring, help speaking to teachers, referrals to tutoring, referrals for any services you may need like counseling, health, or any other support services. Mrs. Delgado also assist with alternative education referrals, credit recovery, and much more.
If you are identified as A-G deficient, I will be contacting you individually to discuss your grades, academic standing, and graduation plan. These are the credits necessary for each grade level:
10th Grade: 50 Credits
11th Grade: 105 Credits
12th Grade: 160 Credits
Graduation: 210 Credits
Edgenuity Reminders:
- Log on to your Edenuity class EVERYDAY
- Reach out to your academic counselor or A-G Counselor for additional support
- Your Edgenuity class is due at the end of each Quarter!
- Students who are not active on Edgenuity will have their course removed

A-G classes are the designated classes necessary to graduate. Students must pass each class with a D or better for graduation and a C or better for CSU/UC admission.
